Baldness is one of the common hair problems with men and women nowadays and there are many factors that are responsible for it. It is essential to know the causes before you move on to  treat them.

Your hair are your crowning glory which add so much to tour overall personality  but  they are threatened by numerous issues that tend to overshadow their grace. The issue of baldness is one of the common hair problems – especially in men which is indeed a great factor of embarrassment.  It is essential to know the causes which lead to baldness so that you treat the issue according to the reason behind it.

Major Causes of Baldness

Hair growth is governed by different phases of growth which have their own genetic development of hair follicles and shaft restructuring. Though baldness is normally due to aging; yet pre-mature baldness is a big issue these days and below can be me of the factors responsible for the hair loss.

Skin inflammation of the hair follicles is one of the causes of baldness as it  tend to weakness the hair roots due to which the hair gradually fall out and fail to regenerate as a result of which the whole of the affected area display a bald look.

Stress leads to hair fall because they tend to disturb the  normal hair cycle and trigger the follicles to go take up the state of dormancy. The inactive state thus no longer nourishes or supports the hair roots and they tend to fall out. So cut down on your worries if you love to be at your best.

Dandruff is one of the common reasons of baldness whereby the skin becomes dry and inflamed due to which hair roots are weakened. Continuous itching and scratching accentuates the conditions and become a reason for excessive hair fall and eventually baldness.

Hormonal fluctuations in the body can cause the hair on the head to have a shorter span of growth after which they tend o fall out, giving way to baldness. The aftermath can be either no hair growth in that area at all or the rise of thinner hair that gradually affect the density of hair thickness. In women the use of after birth pills can also lead to hair loss.

Natural aging is one of the prime reasons of baldness and if your experience hair fall after late 40’s, then it is the genetic and natural reason which obviously cannot b e halted.

Skin aliments can be a great cause of baldness  whereby  the skin of the scalp becomes scarred from different areas  and tends to block or cover up the hair follicles due to which there is no hair growth in that area. With the increases spreading of the scar, the area of baldness also increases.

Alopecia areata is a disorder of the immune system in which the body immunity mistakenly tends to target hair follicles internally and causes them to fall out.

Improper diet leads to body deficiency of essential nutrients like iron and proteins which are essential for hair growth and health. Poor eating habits lead to excessive hair fall and can also result in permanent baldness.

Medications for certain medical conditions like cardiovascular, depressions, arthritis and even birth control pills tend to have side effects out of which the hair also fall a victim and the scalp endures hair fall

Hairstyling products and treatments such as frequent dying, hair coloring and heat treatments are in vogue these days to have stunning looks but apart from this bright side, there is the dark one as well. all these endeavors  tend to weaken the hair and as a result they become weak and  fall out.
